Despite only mugging for my exam on sunday night, the exam wasn't that bad.

My classmates can say i so zai, only started studying the whole module the night before, but i still can sit for the exam with ease, finished one hour earlier than expected and after exam, still so relac relac. xD

FYI, i never paid any attention to any of my classes, and i skipped many classes this semester. I crammed 1 whole semester worth of classes in 1 night. :p

Am so proud of me-self.

And i think last night's dinner made me poopoo many many.
Creamy pasta, curry chicken, then mango snow ice.
I pampering my taste buds, but torturing my stomach. -_-"

Wrong choice to wear wedges yesterday.
Taking bus/MRT to school was a torture.
Considering that the roads i walk are all up-down-up-down.
The test sucked, but it was funny during the test becos my group-mates and i were copying each other, hahahaha! Even "discussed" the answers while my lecturer was standing behind me, and she didn't said anything, just UM CHIO! We just said, "Jeannie, you want us to pass right?" with our innocent voices. :)

FYI, my group-mates are all guys and i always feel like a guy when i am with them, LIKE A BRO!

Anyway, as i was shagged out from wearing wedges the whole day, i cabbed home from school, which is something i haven't done for a long time and reached home pretty early... Bathed, cuddled with my chao chao on the bed and fell asleep. Waking up 2kg lesser! HAHA, i'm serious, really.

Ok la. didn't exactly fell asleep straightaway, was playing iPhone games and messaging, trying to keep myself awake while waiting for bdf to reply.

I eventually fell asleep with the phone in my hands, and later he called (and woke me up) and kpkb that i fell asleep without telling him...like....WTF!?!?!?!?! Said that since i kpkb him before, he is also doing it to me. KNS! !@#$%^&*@#$

Nurse reveals the top 5 regrets people make on their deathbed

Just thought its something worth sharing... :)

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives. People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality.

I learnt never to underestimate someone’s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never
became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a
result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical
details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end.
That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again. When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice.
It is YOUR life.
Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Some people are just too childish and delusional to work hard for themselves and get a real life. I pity such people. With no goals or aspirations, there does not seem to be any meaning for your life. Clinging on to something that is not even there anymore. It is not even something that is dying off (then maybe got chance to relive it), but it is something that is just NOT there anymore.

People like you, whom do not set your priorities right, making up lies and stories to create your own delusional world, which ONLY you live in. Such things are done by 15-year-olds, not adults in their mid-twenties, which i am actually ashamed to say, that i am of that age too, and i am disgusted that people my age are behaving this way.

What you should do is brush up your life. Work hard for a better future, show others what you are made of, what you are capable of doing, and not giving others a chance to look down on you.

Been there, done that.
For the new year, i give my sympathies to you.

Had an appointment at KKH today for my last dose of vaccination. The injection always make my arm aching. :(

Tongbang JC's car home after lunch, bathed and took MRT to Bugis, where i cabbed to KKH. Fare was only $4.50 from Bugis MRT! Cheap! :D

I don't like going KKH. Each time i tell anybody i am going KKH, they will like "HUH PREGGY!?!" or "going abortion ah!?!". -_-"

I always see many preggers with their loving hubbies. I think if i go there with a bf, everybody will be thinking we are very young parents! o.o!

Went to Bugis to shop after the injection. In just a short span of time, i spent $60. -_-" Bought 2 hot shorts and 1 top! My iPhone died when i was at Bugis, and i almost died, not only becos i have NO CONNECTION with the rest of the world, i don't have my music and my games. My external battery charger was flat as well. Lucky i still had my other phone, so still able to sms. ._.

I usually love shopping at Bugis ok, but when my iPhone died, so did my mood. Took bus to City Plaza, where i re-did my eyelash extensions. I'm a vainy~~~

Woke up bright and early for my Pract 4 today. My performance is always inconsistent. Haix. Fell down once at slalom. The problem is, I don't even know why the fuck I fell down. -.-"

Hurt my chest and now there is a bruising mark. :(

The instructor today was lenient, but i had to screw it up. Seriously pissed off at myself. Even had leg cramp when I was getting down the bike. Like WTH!?!

Went for a jog last night and going for a swim later. Exercising keeps my mind off things that I don't want to think about.

Spent my last day of 2011 having my riding pract 4, which by the way, i failed of course. xD

Could only go up the narrow plank ONCE successfully. While my slalom and e-brake still needs practice. And the bike i chose today was pretty fucked up becos the clutch was weird, thus i had a hard time during the pract. :(

Went to Motoworld with the intention of getting new bike gloves, but got me-self a Taichi jacket instead. -_-"""

Saw a pair of pink Taichi gloves, but it was NEON pink dammit. I want baby pink! :( Neon pink is TOO attention seeking. I may be attention seeking, but not to THAT extent, and definitely not during bike practicals. -.-

The damage for the Taichi jacket could have gotten me a full-face helmet instead but since i don't have a proper riding jacket, and plus it has padding, i guess it should be useful for an accident-prone person like me. :X

I can wear it during bike practicals, and no need for elbow guards since it already has padding. And NO MORE TAN LINES! I'm getting unbalanced tan lines, need to go tanning and swimming again soon! Perhaps on monday...mmm...

Despite falling down a few times, I passed Pract 3 without injuring myself.

Considered a miracle for an accident-prone person like me! Didn't even expect to pass! Don't know why today my figure of 8 so zai. Unlike the previous 2 lessons, when i was quite reluctant to go into the hazard courses, this time round, i was sexcited to go in and do the corners. Now cornering so fun. :)

Can't wait for pract 4!
